A reducing flange has two size identities in one part, which is exactly the kind of geometry that benefits from a model before anyone cuts metal.
The published tables give you the larger flange and the smaller bore, but the transition between them, the hub profile on a reducing weld neck, the internal step on a reducing slip-on, is where the detail lives. That is also where the weld prep and the flow behaviour are decided.
Send us a sketch, a marked-up print, a scan of an old drawing or a sample, and we will produce a dimensioned drawing for approval before release to the floor.
Why ask for a model
Hub and bore agreement
On a reducing weld neck the hub must match the smaller pipe OD and schedule. The model settles it in writing.
Weld prep geometry
The bevel and land at the reduced end need to be right for the welding procedure. Model it, do not assume it.
Transition profile
Where flow matters, the shape of the step determines the pressure loss. A model lets it be reviewed.
Clash checking
Drop the model into the piping model and confirm the larger flange ring clears adjacent pipe, structure and insulation.

- A sample part, which we can measure
- The size, class, facing and material if it is a standard pattern
- A STEP file, if the geometry already exists in your model
